   Yes, I’m not sure why everytbhing has to be so complicated with codes…I’m sure it’s to make us seem even more dense when it comes to computer programming!
   I have no idea what I’m talking about so bear with me - is it anything like html code? The reason I ask is because when I had to do some coding of this nature, someone very thoughtfully put me onto a site that does the coding for you ie you type normally then click “convert” - so much less taxing on the brain! lol

   PHP is like HTML in that the end result is a Web site, but that’s where the similarity stops.

   PHP is usually supported by a database - for example, I enter my photographs into an online spreadsheet and they’re automatically displayed on a portfolio page. I don’t have to physically go to the HTML of the page to add photos or change text. Or like Blogger - you type in what you want to say and an entry is generated for you. Updates are much less time consuming!

   What you’ve described is a WYSIWYG editor - “What you see is what you get”. You type in your text and the code that is generated is HTML. It allows one to build a Web site without knowing the code.

   It is complicated, but at my day job I’m a Web developer, so it’s what I do!

   I started working full-time about a year ago so I stopped taking photos for a while. I moved over to Vox, and Blogger.

   Glad you found me again!
